I teach elementary art (K-6) at Cole Academy, a public charter school in Lansing, Michigan.

This year I am focusing on expanding my students' 3-D art curriculum with multi-media sculptures, ceramics and even glass artwork!

Each year I work with a local artist to create a permanent mural with my students that will be displayed at Cole Academy! 

I am an animal lover! I have two cats named Cosmo and Calypso. I also have two guinea pigs names Stevie and Barry. My daughter has a Glo fish named Dory. 

I have been married to my husband since 2013. We have two daughters, Ada and Fiona. 

I have always loved art! I began my artistic career at College for Creative Studies where I studied Photography. I soon went to Michigan State University where I studied Art Education and Museum Studies. I still love to take photos, paint and draw in my spare time!
